London

The Chocolate Show London
Chocolate everywhere.

And after tasting way too much chocolate, I ate a broccoli chicken salad pretending to be healthy.

Soho at night
First, we had drinks at Zebrano and then hot chocolate at Said. A strange combination, but it was very good.

Hyde Park
Cold but sunny day. Yes, it is autumn.

Primrose Hill
Beautiful view from the top of Primrose hill.

Pink Door

Liberty London
Definitely the most beautiful shopping center I've ever seen.

South London
Meeting new people at Pop Brixton. It's a place, where you can get drinks and all kinds of foods and dance or just sit and chat with different people.

Notting Hill
Crowded Portobello Road Market. Good food, lovely boutiques and vintage shops and colorful houses.

Little Venice
We started at Little Venice, then we walked through the Regent's Park and through Primrose Hill and ended our little tour in Camden Town. London has so many different faces and you can just walk around the corner and be at a whole new place, different people, different houses, different shops and a different atmosphere.

Cycling in London
Riding a bike in London is very difficult. First of all I did't think that London has so many hills, so it was more exhausting than I thought it would be. Another point is people in cars don't really care about people on a bike, they pass you with high speed. And of course there is the difficulty of driving on the left, it can be really confusing. Well, nevertheless I survived it and was able to visit the place where my family will stay for christmas this year.

Sky Garden
Beautiful London from above. Walking around in a gorgeous garden with a perfect view.

Tate
Tate Britain and Tate Modern, two wonderful Museums for free.

Open House
Today was a great day.
There is an event in London, it's called "Open House". Everywhere in London are buildings opened up for the general public, who would normally not be able to visit and discover these places. There are many different things you can see, they are about architecture, design and art. Because of "Open House" we got to places we would never have seen without the event. We saw a building built out of timber, you could even smell the timber inside the building. A great piece of architecture. We also visited an old theatre with the name "arcola", it aims to be the world's first carbon-neutral theatre.

London
The first week in London is over and I've already discovered lots of beautiful places. But I think there is so much more in this lovely city that I can and will explore.
Although I haven't yet realized that I will be staying one year, I'm starting to settle.
My host parents and the children I look after are wonderful and I really enjoy spending time with them.
As I have enough free time, I'm starting this blog. I'm going to write about my daily life in London or sometimes just post some pictures of places I find.
I'm very excited about my life in this new big lovely city.

By the way, I apologize for any mistakes I make, when writing in English, as I'm still improving my English language and writing skills.
